Brains Minisumo
This is a minisumo built by Sam Rampling and inspired by the 'Black Widow' built by Kristina Miles. These picture are the work-in-progress, taken prior to Robot Challenge 2010 Vienna.
Brains doesn't have a micro controller at its heart. Its has hard wired circuitry with tactile edge detection to trigger some turn and run behaviour. There is no opponent detection other than the additional behavioural circuits for opponents striking the front or rear or the minisumo. Drive comes from Solarbotics GM3 Gear Motors. |
